Found some time today to weld up the holes in the floor board of the car where the previous owners roll cage used to be. I am by no means a seasoned welder. I have no formal training. I only have “I click the button and the machine poops molten metal wherever I point it.”
The body on this car is super thin steel and I decided to fill the holes with out cutting out small 1/2 circles, in hind sight I think this was a mistake but it worked out either way. Its not pretty but its gonna have deadener and carpet over the top so i’m not terribly worried about it since the holes are sealed up and I don’t have to worry about water getting in the holes causing more mold.
