I had toyed with the idea of building the motor in the car once I pulled it out. However at the same time I told myself i could just buy another block… get the car running and enjoy it a bit. Weeeeeeelllll FB market place is a magical place of great deals.
A few days ago I was just scrolling the dsm groups looking for random parts I need and I find a turbo, with manifold and external wastegate on o2 housing. Tell the guy that i’ll drive to pick it up and he mentions he’d make a deal if i took the whole motor… end up being a good enough deal that I do indeed take it all.
