Since the last post I’ve managed to finish painting up the bay and the sub frame pieces so lets get that out of the way.

Since that got done I started working on the wiring harness.
I’ve got a few goals of this harness and most of which should be fairly simple
1: minimal
2: hidden as best I can
3: long lasting
So I did what any one would do and went overboard.
Mil spec firewall connector, TXL wire, 20g for sensors and 12g for power/ground, brand new oem connectors where required, adhesive lined shrink tubing and a whole bunch of planning.

I drew out the wiring diagram first using draw.io and then once i got that mapped out started on the engine side of the harness.
I’m still not quite done, but i’m about 60% of the way there. I still have the o2 sensor leads, boost control solenoid leads and power transistor connector. I have no intentions on sealing up the entire harness until the engine runs the first time. I have a feeling that I will probably end up missing something and end up needing to take a little extra time to get every thing working properly. However once it’s all done i’ll be wrapping the harness in kapton tape then again in tesa tape.
